Of Magic, Memory, and Moonlight

🌕 Act I — When the Moon Fell into the Hat
The night Audrey stole a wand, and destiny followed close behind.
Humans, beasts, and magical beings from near and far were drawn to the enchanting town of Bella Lune. This mystical place served as a nexus between dimensions—a bridge connecting countless realms.Under a sky ablaze with lights and fireworks, Bella Lune shimmered with magic, its streets alive with eager visitors. The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival had become a cherished tradition, passed down through generations. One event stood above the rest—the captivating performance of The Top Hat, a renowned group of magicians who appeared only during the festival. Their spellbinding shows drew crowds of mortals and magical creatures alike, never failing to amaze. But one fateful night, during their grand finale, something unexpected happened. As the enigmatic lead magician named August attempted his final top hat trick, a white lop rabbit emerged and swiftly stole their wand.It soon became clear this mischievous rabbit had crossed into various realms before arriving in the human world of Gentile Demetra (Earth). Whispers spread of her shape-shifting powers and the hidden magic within the wand she took. Legends spoke of her true identity—a lost moon goddess, daughter of Aurora, the late goddess of dawn, and Edwin, a celestial warrior of Bella Lune. Some even believed she was the elder sister of Aldrin, Gentile Demetra’s hero known as “Helio Hare.”Audrey embraced her newfound freedom and set out on a journey across the multiverse, determined to create lasting memories while protecting its delicate balance. Her travels eventually led to a reunion with her brother, Aldrin, and later, their father, Edwin. Together, they uncovered the depth of their shared legacy. Audrey’s wanderlust and Aldrin’s heroism combined in harmony, inspiring them to open The Golden Aurora, a bistro like no other. The bistro's name paid homage to their beloved mother, Aurora, whose culinary passion and dedication to bringing joy to others lived on in the hearts of her children.Behind its modest exterior, the bistro holds a magical secret: the Luminous Arbor, a towering tree at its heart with glowing leaves that light the space in a warm, ethereal hue. The tree serves as a gateway to Bella Lune, active only during business hours.Though enchanted, The Golden Aurora values balance. It closes on holidays and weekends, giving staff time to rest and reconnect with family. Its patrons include the city’s hardworking residents and travelers from all backgrounds—humans, elves, dragons, beastfolk, and more—drawn not only by its welcoming spirit but also by its extraordinary cuisine. Each dish carries the essence of the multiverse, offering tastes and sensations beyond imagination. In every bite, and in every moment shared within its walls, The Golden Aurora embodies a place of connection, nourishment, and wonder for all who enter.✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦🌑 Act II — The Silent Moon and the Falling Star
Before magic, before the festival, before the bunny stole the wand—there was a war.
The true story of what happened as to why Audrey went missing began during the divine war.A selfish god named Ravion, from the realm of Solithar, sought to take Bella Lune for himself. As a nexus of realms, its power was too great for a god like him to ignore. To protect Bella Lune, the goddess of dawn, Aurora, and her beloved, the celestial warrior Edwin, stood against Ravion’s forces. Audrey’s younger brother, Aldrin—later known as Helio Hare—was only an infant at the time.Aurora ordered Audrey to stay behind and protect her brother. She obeyed—but Ravion saw her as an opening. If he threatened Audrey, the defenders of Bella Lune would hesitate.Ravion cast a devastating spell meant to kill both Audrey and Aldrin. Edwin moved to shield them, but Aurora stepped in instead. The magic struck her fatally and wounded Audrey’s right shoulder. Aurora was relieved—her children lived. In the aftermath, Edwin fought with everything he had. His spear struck true—Ravion lost an eye and his right arm, forcing the god to retreat back to Solithar. Before her final breath, Aurora used the last of her magic to form a powerful barrier around Bella Lune and placed Audrey in an enchanted sleep, one that would allow her body and soul to recover. She kissed her daughter goodbye.Edwin, grieving but resolute, took Aldrin and left for Gentile Demetra. They would protect that realm while waiting for the day Audrey would return. That day came when the magic of Bella Lune began to fade.Still weak and disconnected from her powers, Audrey awoke—confused, restless, and feeling the echo of her past. The stolen wand wasn’t taken for mischief—it was taken because Audrey needed to touch magic again. Only then could she begin to remember.✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦🪄 A Wand, A Name, A MysteryWhat Audrey doesn’t know is that August, the magician she stole the wand from, is no ordinary performer. He is a descendant of Ravion, bound by lineage to a divine bloodline that once brought Bella Lune to its knees. While his motives remain hidden, one thing is clear: he followed her into Gentile Demetra. He’s waiting. Watching.
But for what?
Audrey, still healing, still dreaming, remains unaware—not only of who August truly is… but of the quiet storm that walks beside her.✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦ .   ⁺    . ✦🌌 Act III — Of Dreams, Dissonance, and Dusk
Not every battle is loud. Some begin with a flicker.
Though Audrey finds warmth in The Golden Aurora and laughter among friends and travelers, her heart still echoes with something missing. The wand helped, but her magic isn’t whole. Each night, she dreams of Bella Lune whispering from afar—its light dimmer, its skies quieter. The Luminous Arbor begins to flicker. The connection between realms grows faint. Aldrin senses it too—the change in the air, the unease in the stars. And far away, deep in the shadows of Solithar, Ravion stirs once more.Though weakened, he has not forgotten. His pride burned, his eye blinded, and his power sealed—he has waited for the seal to weaken. And Audrey, his unfinished target, may now also be the key to breaking Aurora’s final spell. As Audrey’s power begins to return piece by piece, the world prepares for what’s next. What lies ahead is not just a battle for Bella Lune, but a reckoning of bloodlines, memory, and will. And maybe… just maybe…
The bunny who once ran from fate
will become the goddess who rewrites it.
